Teacher of high school and elementary students
(1979-1989)
Jason moved to Corona in 1968 and graduated from Corona High School
a few years later. He
earned B.A. and M.Ed. degrees as well as teaching and administrative leadership
credentials. He has worked for the Corona-Norco Unified School District since
1979, the last 21 years as a principal.
He has shared the last 23 years with his
wife and true love, Dee. They have two daughters. Sharlynn is married and the
mother of their grandchildren Samantha (7 years old) and Jack (4 years old), and
Cherise is a teacher in our local school district and has a daughter Tylor (age
3).
Jason still enjoys playing basketball each
weekend with friends; a tradition that began about 30 years ago with about six
guys, and has grown to 30 participants each weekend.
Making a difference in people’s quality of
life is important to Jason. He has served on dozens of boards and committees
through a wide spectrum of organizations within our community. To the right,
you will find a summary of some of the activities Jason has participated in over
the years. He has dedicated himself to being involved in the community.
